As part of the Netflix Australia & New Zealand content team, Nakul leads film and television licensing and co-productions for the market, and is a creative executive on the local originals slate. Before joining Netflix, Nakul was in Business & Legal Affairs at the ABC where he worked on commissioning, development, talent and acquisitions deals across scripted and factual/entertainment projects.

Kate Croser is the Chief Executive Officer of the South Australian Film Corporation. Formerly an award-winning film and television producer, Kate’s work has been nominated for and won Australian Academy Awards and screened at the world’s most prestigious international film festivals. Kate has established successful independent production and distribution companies including Hedone Productions, nominated for Australian Screen Business of the Year at the 2015 Screen Producers Australia awards. Kate is a member of the board of the South Australian Film Corporation and previously served for five years as a Councillor for Screen Producers Australia, the peak industry body for independent screen production in Australia.

Marshall was appointed Director TV and Online Content in January 2015. Prior to this appointment Marshall was the Chief Digital Officer, with a broad remit to help drive the adoption of digital technologies and innovation across SBS in a rapidly changing broadcast sector.

Marshall first joined SBS in 2007 as Manager, Digital Media with overall responsibility for SBS’s online presence.

Prior to joining SBS, Marshall’s varied career has included working as a litigation lawyer in NZ; heading up Telstra’s digital music and movie businesses and working as Creative Director of Noise, a media based festival to showcase the creative works of young Australians.

With a background as Australia’s multicultural broadcaster, SBS holds a unique place in the Australian media landscape. As described in the SBS Charter, SBS’s principal function is to provide multilingual, multicultural and Indigenous radio, television and digital media services that inform, educate and entertain all Australians, reflecting Australia’s diverse society. SBS inspires all Australians to explore, appreciate and celebrate our diverse world.

AMANDA DUTHIE

AMANDA DUTHIE

Amanda Duthie is Stan’s Head of Scripted, overseeing all of Stan’s Original scripted, entertainment and factual slate; and has over 20 years in the creative arts and television industry.
Prior to her position at Stan, Amanda was Acting Head of Drama at SBS, plus also served as Executive Producer across many commissioned titles, such as New Gold Mountain and The Unusual Suspects.
Before her time at SBS, Amanda was the Head of Production, Development and Studios at the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC), where she oversaw investment slate which included, I Am Woman, The Hunting, First Day, Operation Buffalo and Stateless. She was also the Creative Director/CEO of the Adelaide Film Festival for seven years, leading both the festival and its investment fund; supporting 58 projects, which included award winning documentaries, VR, features including Sweet Country, Charlie’s Country, Hotel Mumbai, I Am Mother, Top End Wedding, 52 Tuesdays, Ali’s Wedding, Tender, She Who Must Be Loved and Cargo.
Amanda Duthie held various roles at the ABC over her eight years with the public broadcaster, including Head of Arts and Entertainment, along with Executive Producer and Commissioning Editor Arts, Entertainment and Comedy. During her tenure at ABC, she commissioned numerous award-winning and popular programs.
