Screenmakers Conference 2020

EVENT POSTPONED

In light of the unchartered waters we find ourselves in, the Screenmakers Conference, Market and Lab that was to be held in July this year has been postponed.

Screenmakers is arguably one of the most energetic producer, director, writer and creator conferences in the country, earning a reputation as a must attend event for anyone looking to build their career in the evolving screen industry, which is why we are 100% committed to ensuring that the event continues to provide this vital role for the industry it serves.

We are hoping to reschedule the 2020 Conference, but given the uncertainty regarding the spread of COVID19 contagion and corresponding duration of restrictions relating to public events, we can’t give specific dates at this time.

Our priority is to help protect the health and well-being of our staff, members and delegates and thus we will remain in hiatus to comply with Australian and South Australian Government directives, if you have any questions or updates of your own you would like to share please do not hesitate to contact us.

In the interim the MRC/Mercury team will be working on an exciting new vision, brand, name and website along with a suite of programs designed to cultivate our creative talent and screen stories for the global market. We look forward to launching this exciting new centre of excellence once we’re all safely in the clear zone.

The Board and Staff of the Mercury/MRC wish you continued good health and we look forward to welcoming you to the next Screenmakers Conference.
