As Head of Drama for Nine, Andy oversees the commissioning and production of the network’s drama, comedy and children’s drama output, across Nine’s linear and digital channels.
Recent productions include Informer 3838, Halifax: Retribution, SeaChange, and five seasons of Australia’s most popular series, Doctor Doctor. Other commissions include Underbelly: Badness, Underbelly: Razor; Fat Tony & Co, Underbelly Files: Chopper, Love Child s1-s4, House Husbands s1-s5, Bite Club, Bad Mothers; comedy series Here Come the Habibs; the mini-series Howzat!, House of Hancock, House of Bond, Gallipoli and; and telemovies including Beaconsfield and The Great Mint Swindle.
Currently in production for 2021 are hospital drama Amazing Grace and season 5 of Doctor Doctor.
For the Australian streaming platform STAN, Andy was Executive Producer of STAN’s first two drama commissions – crime thriller Wolf Creek and comedy series No Activity.
Prior to joining Nine, Andy was a screenwriter and script producer for top rating dramas including McLeods Daughters, Home & Away and All Saints, as well as children’s animations Blinky Bill and Flipper & Lopaka.

I’m interested in pitches for prime-time adult drama targeted at the 25-54 year old audience. Our particular focus is on distinctive ‘event’ mini-series, as well as drama series of between six to ten episodes.
Not looking for period drama and science fiction.
