Partner in the newly formed Australian production and distribution company, Arcadia, Lisa produced Killing Ground (alongside Joe Weatherstone of Hypergiant Films), that premiered internationally at the Sundance Film Festival in the Midnight Section 2017, selling North American rights to IFC. Lisa co-produced John Winter’s Black & White & Sex (Sydney Film Festival, International Film Festival Rotterdam 2013) and was producer of the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) award-winning series, Hipsters (SBS, 2015).
Formerly a producer at Russell Crowe’s South Sydney Media, she was an executive on Crowe’s directorial debut, The Water Diviner and Australian Sports Commission award-winning producer of documentary Slammin Sam: The Sam Burgess Story. Prior to SSM, Lisa headed up fellow Aussie actor, Hugh Jackmans’ Seed Productions, working on the development and production of Jackman starrers, Deception; X-Men Origins: Wolverine and documentary series’, An Aussie Goes Barmy, An Aussie Goes Bolly and An Aussie Goes Calypso for Foxtel.
Lisa previously held posts at the Australian Film Commission and as a freelancer on Star Wars II & III, Superman Returns, Stealth, The Great Raid, Scooby Doo, Peter Pan, and TV series, The Lost World: Series II in various production roles. Lisa is a graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and a TAP alumni.Back to Speakers
