Madeleine Parry

Madeleine is director of the Emmy award winning Netflix special Hannah Gadsby: Nanette (2018). She won the ADG award for Best Direction in a Documentary (Standalone) for her first broadcast documentary, Meatwork, for the ABC in 2013 and was nominated for Best Documentary Series for her series Maddie Parry: Tough Jobs (3 x half hour, ABC) in 2016.

Madeleine has field produced Access to White Supremacists, Tasmanian Loggers and Sex Workers, developed an unscripted series about pets for Matchbox Pictures and is in development on an innovative project with Made UpStories. She’s directed VR Running 62: The Arrival (Adelaide Film Festival 2018), sketch comedy Corey White’s Roadmap To Paradise (ABC 2018) and produced commercial content for Google.

Madeleine’s feature film script has been accepted to the second round of the Sundance Development Track, she was a member of Screen Australia’s 2019 Talent USA delegation and she’s working across a slate of documentary and scripted. Madeleine is repped by Creative Rep (Aus) and Fourward (USA)
