Lab

Out of the Box Funding Initiative

South Australian Screen Makers Lab participants have the opportunity to submit a concept and be mentored through a development and testing process from some of the best in the TV Format business.  One team who attended the Screen Makers Lab will be selected to receive $15,000 cash and approx. $15,000 in kind support by way of mentoring, ABC studio hire, equipment, and insurance cover to make a pilot for a studio-based entertainment show to be broadcast on Channel 44 and to act as a proof of concept to pitch to the Australian and global marketplace.

We’ll be looking for bold, innovative concepts that seek to fill a gap in the current market.

Only South Australian Lab Participants are eligible to submit a pitch to the Out of the Box Production Initiative. At least two members of any creative team need to attend the lab and one must be the producer. Deadline for applications is Tuesday 17 September 2019.
