Access & Inclusion

We hope that everyone that comes to Screen Makers Conference enjoys their experience.
The Screen Makers Conference has a commitment to improving access for audience members with disability.
We’ll make reasonable efforts to meet your specific requirements within available resources. If you have any access questions, concerns or suggestions, we want to hear from you.
The two-day event will be held at the Mercury Cinema, which is located at 13 Morphett Street, Adelaide.

Step-free access

Wheelchair access is available through the double front doors to the cinema foyer with wheelchair seating available at the ground floor level of the cinema or via lift to the upper level.
Companion Card
Screen Makers Conference recognises the Companion Card at all events, capacity allowing.
Captioning and Audio Description
Unfortunately this service is currently not available at the Mercury Cinema and we hope to offer this in the future.
Accessible toilet
The Mercury Cinema has an accessible toilet available for patrons.
Accessible parking
The Mercury Cinema has one accessible parking bay located at the front of the cinema. It is located in the off-street driveway at the front of the cinema, via the western side of Morphett St below Morphett St bridge.
Taxi drop-off
Taxis may drop-off patrons in the off-street driveway at the front of the cinema.
Off-site events
Some conference events and activities are held at close-by venues such as the Media Resource Centre and Rockford Hotel, which provide disability access.
